The staff of The Quiltmaker's Shoppe heard of  Passage Quilts and decided to make two of them for use in Delaware County.  Kathy presented Mark Mier of Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Brian Muller of Leonard-Muller Funeral Home with quilts entitled Homeward Bound.  The passage quilt will be used to cover the deceased loved one as the body is taken from a residence or facility.  It is a softer image that will stay with the family members as they look back on this time of sadness and loss.  We hope in some small way these quilts will provide comfort to each family during this time.
